The Home & Community Care (HACC) program provides services of the frail, aged, people with a disability and their carers, who live in the community.
By offering a range of basic support services HACC enables people to live at home for as long as possible, where otherwise, they may have to move prematurely to a hostel or nursing home.
Ageing, Disability & Home Care, Department of Human Services NSW (ADHC) has primary co-ordinating and administering responsibility for the joint State/Commonwealth HACC program in New South Wales.
There are 90 Home Modification & Maintenance Services across the State in both city and rural areas.
